What Does Tuna Kush Look and Smell Like?

As its name implies, Tuna Kush has a complex terpene profile that gives it a smell similar to tuna fish. These aren’t actually the same compounds that give fish their distinctive scent. Instead, it’s a combination of earthy, pungent, spicy, and gassy aromas that combine to form a faithful recreation of tuna fish.

As if its unique aroma wasn’t enough, Tuna Kush’s taste is a fairly loyal representation of fishy flavour. Lighting this strain up brings its gassy diesel tang to the fore, assailing the taste buds with a complex combination of flavours.

What Is Tuna Kush’s High Like?

While many Kush strains are heavy-hitting Indicas that can overpower unwary users, Tuna Kush isn’t a part of that camp. Instead, its THC concentration, which ranges from 16 – 18 percent, makes it a great choice for newer smokers to cut their teeth on. It also makes Tuna Kush a great all-day strain, equally apt as a nightcap or for a wake-and-bake.     The name actually scared me away from trying this strain for quite some time as I was worried it would actually taste like fish. This is not the case with tuna Kush. It is a very delicious Kush strain. I do detect a very slight tuna Lake smell and taste deep in the background which must be where the name came from. This Strain has great effects and I give it 5 Stars and highly recommend.

    Two favorite words Tuna Kush. Very strong indica, knocks you on your butt, just what I like. It helps with sleep at night, pass right out, lol. It smells soo good, I love a good smelling smoke. Very strong smell, yummy. I highly recommend this strain. Tuna strain is usually a strong one and my go to.

    I liked this strain, had a good scent to it and nice size buds. The price is also right! when I go to in person stores its sometime $100 for half an ounce! and the quality is same or worse then MMj. So I would rather stick to MMJ. Thanks

    Delicious and potent smoke! Great for evenings which is exactly what I got it for. Don’t let the “smalls” fool you, dense, high quality bud for the price, the nugs are perfect size to pour into your grinder. Really great strain for recovery or managing with pain. Gave some of this to a friend who was buying from the regular shops and it blew his mind. Needless to say, he’s now a MMJ customer!

    This strain is great for evening smoking or if you’re looking for heavy relaxation. The buds are small but still nice shape and great quality; the smell and taste are fresh and piney. Strong indica strain that leaves you feeling relaxed – definitely a body high. 5/5 will always order when available

    I got this strain because I have heard good things about it over the years. Now I regret not trying it sooner! This is great, and has now become my regular evening time strain. Hits quite hard though, be careful! Very high-quality bud, smells very strong and hits you even stronger!!! 😮‍💨😮‍💨👌

    I was a big fan of the Tuna kush. As the name suggests they are small, all nugs are between ¼”-⅝” diameter. However for the price you can’t beat it! The thc level is about medium/high but not so much to make it inaccessible. I would describe this weed as just about anyone can toke it an will enjoy the toke. Will be buying again! Cheers!

    Smells really good! Never been a huge person into the smells and taste of different strains but this stuff was really nice. I liked the mellow high. Didn’t feel like I needed to smoke a bunch like I do with some other strains was potent and chill. Really enjoyed and ground up so nicely

    All the Tuna Kush taste, and that heavy punch to the lungs that reminds you it’s Tuna Kush. My only criticism would be that the occasional bud sparkled a bit when burning, and the ash was black which would lead me to believe there were some impurities left behind from the growing process.

    I was looking for something to alleviate my anxiety, mild depression, and chronic boredom. I felt it was head high enough to curve my depression while entertaining myself for a few hours in a haze, but also body high enough to ease my anxiety. It smelled piney with a little bit of…. FUNK! Maybe it’s tuna I’m smelling. The buds are all equally sized with no stem. Popcorn buds that pack a pretty good punch. They busted up nice and evenly. I’d recommend this for an all day “hazey” smoke.
