A somewhat balanced strain with a slight Sativa dominance – 60% Sativa, 40% Indica, White Widow is incredibly famous. Just like Black Widow, this strain has been made famous by its mention in the television show Weeds and by constant referencing by notorious rappers. The Hollywood strain

The White Widow strain was produced in the 90s by the Dutch brand Green House Seeds. It’s a cross between South Indian Sativa and Brazilian Indica landraces. In 1995, the strain crossed into legendary status when it won the High Times Cannabis Cup. Since then, it has won many other awards. This strain is usually bred for its high trichome count and greatly valued when it comes to the production of hash. It has an average 20% THC in its composition, which means it packs quite a punch.     An favorite of mine! Legendary for its off-the-charts resin production, White Widow is a staple sativa-dominant hybrid with powerful energizing effects. It was produced by Dutch veterans Green House Seeds in the 1990s as a cross between Brazilian indica and South Indian sativa landraces. At the time, the underground cannabis market consisted mostly of early hybrids like Northern Lights and Haze, but White Widow has since joined the ranks of these legendary strains, winning an early High Times Cannabis Cup in 1995 and several awards since. Bred specifically for a high trichome count, White Widow is especially valued in the production of hash. This strain has an average THC composition of 20%, with some phenotypes exceeding that amount.

    This isn’t anywhere close to the white widow I used to grow, but it for the price does the job. I purchased it out of nostalgia as I grew up cutting school and smoking this stuff in my earlier high school years, and revisited it as stated about when growing it in the early 2000’s . not bad for a budget bud, but this is nothing close to the potential of what this product can be. price point was great and it is definitely suitable for rolling a fattie and chillin

    White Widow is a memorable strain for me, and not just because it was the first one I smoked. Even after years of daily smoking and vaporising, this strain’s indica side still floors me. It’s scent and flavour are quite plain and natural, a simple earthen taste with a touch of wood. The first few seconds of a hit will have you calm and relaxed (if not coughing madly), followed by a heavy couchlock that will leave you reaching for your favourite drink and snacks if not your bed. I have trouble recommending this strain for medical use, as its effects aren’t gentle at all. It hits ridiculously hard, and its sativa side will leave your mind wandering more than desired. Smoke with caution, and avoid combining White Widow with busy situations.

    I like hybrids for daytime and evening smoking, and this one is great for both, which is why I purchased it. It’s a great price for the quality/potency. It’s high enough THC% to work for you even if you’re a daily smoker, which is a problem I have sometimes where the high is too fleeting. It smokes well, doesn’t burn too fast and didn’t arrive too dry. Good quality bud that I will be repurchasing.
